Alnmouth Village

Happiness is not a cigar called Hamlet, happiness is 9 holes around Alnmouth Village, the oldest 9 hole course in England. Established in 1869 this is about the most fun you can have without being arrested. The 7th stands alone as one of England's greatest holes and we challenge anybody not to marvel at the majesty of this view. The course will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Alnmouth Village GC

Hesketh

Set between Southport & Preston, Hesketh is a smart village with an even smarter golf club. Founded way back in 1885, the course is a mix of links & parkland with the more linksy closing holes being as good as any. A marvellous late Victorian club house adds to the charm, one of many such clubhouses in this neck of the woods. This Lancashire beauty can boast many stories, few more fascinating than the 'Hitler Tophy' which sits proudly in the grill room.

Nefyn

Wonderful, adorable, beautiful Nefyn - oh how we long to go back. A Welsh wonder set on the Llyn Peninsula with panoramic views of the sea and the Welsh mountains. And if that wasn't enough, there is the legendary Ty Coch Inn, hidden down on the beach for one of the great post-round watering holes. Peter Allis's 5th favourite course to boot.
